TLC & LCP Celebrate Halloween

The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory celebrated Halloween 2013 with a bash on Thursday.

At TLC, the walking dead, astronauts, ninjas, iron men, and army men joined forces with Disney princesses, Robin Hood, vampires and courtly knights to parade proudly before friends and family while stopping to entertain all in attendance with a seasonal song.

“Each class sang a Halloween favorite,” said TLC music teacher, Kris Maitlen. “We sang Fit and Fly, Halloween Candy, and I’m a Pumpkin to name but three.  The kids were great, and I think the parents really loved it.”

At LCP, the student council, headed by their president, Talia Malekian, and faculty advisor, Taylor Smith, put on their annual haunted house to the frightening satisfaction of all who dared enter.  It was reported by many to be absolutely terrifying.
