Join everybody’s favorite holiday humbug, Ebenezer Scrooge, on a fantastical journey that celebrates the spirit of the season. Bring the whole family and revel in this joyous, holiday tradition! Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a magical whirlwind tale through past, present and future that single-handedly defines the healing power of forgiveness.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, sixth graders will have the special opportunity to experience the aNoiseWithin production of the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. This production is directed by Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, parents of 7th grade student, Jack Elliott, who performs in this production. There will be a discussion with Q & A following the performance.

'This special field trip is not covered by the materials fee and is optional.

The cost of this event is $18.00. Thank you to the Elliott family for generously sponsoring the school bus to and from the theater.

Students will depart La Cañada Preparatory at 9:00 a.m. and return to campus at 1:30 p.m.

Students will need to bring a sack lunch, including snack and drinks, in a clearly labeled disposable bag. Please make sure that you do not order Freshlunches on a field trip day.

If you would like your child to attend this trip, please complete and return the attached Field Trip Permission form, along with a check for $18.00, by Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
