TLC & LCP STUDENTS WRITE THEIR WAY TO THE TOP

In November, TLC and LCP students entered the youthinkwell/Barnes & Noble writing contest entitled, “Your Vision of a Perfect World.”
 
The Learning Castle and La Cañada Prep are very pleased to announce that eleven students qualified for the semi-finals, one student finished third, and one student was a grand-prize winner.
 

Public Readings
Semi-finalists were invited to read their work in public at the Pasadena Barnes & Noble.  TLC & LCP semi-finalists were:

  • Emily Chapirian - second grade
  • Collette Momartin - second grade
  • Ella Noravian - second grade
  • Parker Renick - second grade
  • Brennan Bilinski - seventh grade
  • Jack Goyette - seventh grade
  • Aditya  Nachiappan - seventh grade
  • Lori Pridjian - seventh grade
  • Kareem Ismail - eighth grade
  • Daniel Moore - eighth grade
  • Daniel Nieto - eighth grade

 
The Winners
On December 11th, the winners for each grade category were announced with Brennan Bilinski and Jack Goyette finishing first and third respectively in the 6th to 8th-grade category. 
 
Brennan Bilinski, as a grand-prize winner, will receive a $1,500.00 scholarship to the youthinkwell writing center; Brennan and Jack Goyette will both receive gift cards to Barnes & Noble Booksellers along with charity donations of their choice made in their names.
