“This is the first graduating class in three years that has had a normal eighth-grade experience,” said LCP co-director, Justin Whalin.  “They were fifth graders when the pandemic began and have watched as the world has slowly returned to normal.  They are a resilient group, and I couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.”

This year’s class received acceptances from the likes of Flintridge Preparatory, Loyola, Polytechnic, Flintridge  Sacred Heart, St. Francis, Mayfield Senior, La Salle, Notre Dame, Providence and others.

“It is important that we properly usher these young men and women on to the next academic chapter of their lives.  I have personally taught and worked with many of these students since they were four-year-olds. These families have been part of our community for the better part of a decade and will always be in our hearts,” said Terry Villanueva, the director of the school.

This year’s graduating class included ten students who have attended since kindergarten, otherwise known as “lifers”: Natalie Esmalian, Andrew Harutunians, Sevan Keshishian, Hannah Korkin, Sonja Leavens, Emily Petrosyan, Verena Saied, Anthony Ter-Matevosyan, Skyler Thomas and Cody Walsh.
