Lady Knights Down Glendale - Finish Unbeaten
LCP hosted Glendale Academy on Thursday, with their unbeaten league record on the line, and came away with the win in a thrilling three-set match, 24-26; 25-20; 15-9.
The Lady Knights finished with an unbeaten record in the league for the first time since 2012 and will now face Barnhart in the league championship game on November 30th.
LCP was one point away from winning the first set before giving up five unanswered points to Glendale's number-one server to drop the set 24-26.
The Lady Knights bounced back in the second set going ahead 9-8 after trailing early and never looked back, taking the second set 25-20.
In the final set, LCP fell behind 4-2 before scoring 13 of the next 18 points to win the tiebreaker, 15-9.
