La Canada Preparatory Students Impress at Los Angeles County’s Science and Engineering Fair

On March 11, 2024, the 74^th-Annual Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair showcased over 900 individual and student-team projects at USC’s Shrine Exposition Hall. The fair featured some of the most accomplished middle- and high-school students that the county has to offer. Eighteen categories, ranging from chemistry and microbiology to environmental studies to artificial intelligence, comprised the Junior Division from which La Canada Preparatory gleaned two First-Place winners, one Second Place, one Third Place and an Honorable-Mention.

On Friday, January 26^th, local La Cañada private schools, The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory, held their 23^rd-Annual Science Fair. Over 95 entrants, ranging in age from eight to thirteen, proudly displayed their experiments which covered eight different scientific disciplines.
