The Learning Castle and La Canada Preparatory are pleased to announce that it has received a six-year accreditation , the highest level of accreditation possible, from the Accreditation Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).

On March 17, 2025, the 75^th-Annual Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair showcased over 900 individual and student-team projects at USC’s Shrine Exposition Hall.

On March 3, 2025, the 17^th Annual LCP Open Chess Tournament opened with four first-round matches.  After three months of lunches, 102 matches, and 222 games, the tournament came to a conclusion on Monday afternoon, June 9, 2025.

On June 6, 2025, LCP announced the Knights of the Round Table recipients for 2025.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, LCP hosted the 1st Annual Cultural Fair in the FIS gymnasium.

The LCP Lady Knights navigated the chaos caused by the Eaton Fire and brought home their second consecutive Foothill Sports League championship.

LCP opened their league schedule today at New Horizon and came home with a comfortable 23-16 win.

On February 11th and 12th, LCP held the annual All-School Spelling Bee to determine who would represent LCP at the Scripp's Spelling Bee.

LCP opened the 2025 season today at home versus St. Rita.

On Friday, January 31^st, local La Cañada private schools, The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory, held their 24^th-Annual Science Fair.  Over 95 entrants, ranging in age from eight to thirteen, proudly displayed their experiments which covered eight different scientific disciplines.
