LCP Hosts Cultural Fair

Fourth and fifth graders from Miss Kathleen's history classes were asked to present a research project on a country's culture other than their own.

Students researched geography, climate, language, religion, food, clothing, holidays, traditions, music, art, education and more, then created a presentation for public viewing (much like the science fair).

"Everyone exceeded my expectations," said Miss Kathleen. "The feedback we received from teachers and students who attended the fair was excellent."

Miss Kathleen went on to say that she hopes the Cultural Fair becomes an annual event that we can build on.
