Athletic Director Coach Scott gave the opening remarks during which he discussed the current state of the LCP program and the state of the sports leagues to which LCP belong.
Coach Scott then segued into the awards portion of the night by announcing the first team to be recognized, Coach Greg, and the undefeated league champions, the 2024 flag football team.
Coach Greg gave a brief synopsis of the season and presented medals to all the varsity players and special trophies to the following:
- Most Improved Player to Nicholas Semerjian;
- Most Outstanding Sportsmanship to Nicky Mahdessian; and
- Most Outstanding Player award to Dylan Polanco.
Current Knight’s captains, Dylan Polanco, Nicholas Semerjian and Matthew Harutunians, presented the 2024 Foothill Sports League championship trophy and banner to Miss Terry, Mr. Justin and the school.
Coach Scott presented the Foothill Sports League Most Valuable Player award in flag football to Dylan Polanco.
Coach Scott introduced Coach Tosh and the boys’ and girls’ tennis teams, stating that this year marked the team’s thirteenth league championship overall (ninth in a row).
Coach Tosh gave a brief synopsis of the tennis season then presented medals to all the varsity players and special trophies to the following:
- Most Improved Player to Bella Khudoyan;
- Most Outstanding Sportsmanship to Evan Jayaraj; and
- Most Outstanding Player to Alexandra Oganesyan (girls) and Max Mueller (boys).
Current Knight’s tennis captain, Max Mueller, presented the 2024 Foothill Tennis League championship trophy and banner to Miss Terry, Mr. Justin and the school.
Coach Scott introduced Coach Jill and the 2024 volleyball team. Coach Jill gave a brief synopsis of the volleyball season then presented medals to all the junior varsity and varsity players with special trophies to the following:
- Most Improved Player to Julia Yen;
- Most Outstanding Sportsmanship to Ella Ohanian; and
- Most Outstanding Player to Maneh Khudyan.
Coach Scott introduced the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams with a summary of their seasons.
Coach Greg presented medals to the junior varsity girls’ and boys’ and varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. Coach Greg also presented special trophies to the following:
- Most Improved Players to Eva Margaryan (girls) and Ben Kuzoyan (boys);
- Most Outstanding Sportsmanship to Saige Fregia (girls) and Dylan Glandian (boys); and
- Most Outstanding Players to Maneh Khudyan (girls) and Alex Amirian (boys).
Lady Knight’s basketball captains, Maneh Khudyan and Eva Margaryan, presented the 2025 Foothill Sports League championship trophy and banner to Miss Terry, Mr. Justin and the school.
Coach Scott presented the Foothill Sports League Most Valuable Player award in girls’ basketball to Maneh Khudyan.
Coach Scott introduced the coed soccer teams, and Coach Greg presented the medals.
Coach Scott concluded the awards ceremony by presenting the final awards of the evening.
The following were recognized as a three-year varsity letterman: Matthew Harutunians (Flag Football), Bella Khudoyan (Tennis), Maneh Khudyan (Volleyball), Alexandra Oganesyan (Tennis), Dylan Polanco (Flag Football), Nicholas Semerjian (Flag Football) and Julia Yen (Soccer).
The evening concluded with Coach Scott presenting the Athletic Director Award and the awards for Female and Male Athlete of the Year. The Athletic Director Award for outstanding contribution to LCP athletics was presented to Eva Margaryan. The Athlete of the Year awards for outstanding performance were presented to Maneh Khudyan and Dylan Polanco.
Mr. Justin closed the evening by thanking the coaching staff and the athletic department for their dedication to the program, and all the parents for their outstanding support.
