Lady Knights Open Their 2023 Season with a Huge Win

The 2022 Lady Knights were unbeaten in league play on their way to a championship last year, but there was one blemish on their schedule: a three-set opening day loss to South Pasadena.  LCP avenged that loss yesterday, defeating S. Pas in three sets: 20-25, 25-10, 15-10.
The Lady Knights fell behind early in the first set, trailing 15-6 at one point, but they closed the deficit before losing 25-20.

On the dominating service of eighth grader, Anna Hovhannisyan, LCP jumped out to a big lead in the second set and never looked back, winning 25-10.

In the third set, the Lady Knights played error-free volleyball, cruising to a 15-10 win and a three-set victory.

Talia Mardurssian and Chloe Dehnoushil combined for seven kills off the setting of seventh grader, Maneh Khudyan.

LCP opens their league schedule next Friday, October 5th, at New Horizon School
